“But… don’t you miss bacon?”
Little Sausage is a new verbatim musical about the relationship between veganism and masculinity. Some Nice (and not so nice) things people have said:
“Now more than ever, the theatre community is talking about how we can be more inclusive. One fo the best ways that we can do that is through verbatim theatre. It allows the community to have a direct voice and be in charge of their narrative. And this is exactly what Little Sausage does, while adding catchy songs, making its themes memorable.”
— somebody jones, playwright
“I had the absolute pleasure of having Little Sausage at the Drayton Arms Theatre in September 2019. Deborah and the whole company were so professional and a joy to work with, while the show itself was thoughtful and eye opening. Not to mention the songs are incredibly catchy!”
— Audrey Thayer, Artistic Director drayton Arms Theatre
“This play encourages apathy and dissociation towards the animal Holocaust. It also deeply undermines veganism and animal rights advocates. If a non-vegan were to watch this play, it would have the effect of encouraging them to continue their unquestioned violence towards animals and belief that vegans are ridiculous. I’m very confused.”
